I'm Chad Giles, a lifelong Michigander, who has been serving Michigan Home and Property Owners with their carpentry and construction needs for over two decades, although the HILLBILLY CARPENTRY brand was not officially launched until 2023, the experience and service remains.

As the "Son of a Sea Bee", my father who served in the Naval Construction Battalion, was instrumental in my exposure and interest in the carpentry and construction trades, along with having a "Can-Do" attitude. I am a Residential Trade School Graduate, Michigan State University Graduate with studies in Construction Management and Fine Arts Sculpture, and a Michigan Licensed Builder since 2004. My family and I are adventurers! We have a great love of the Michigan out-of-doors, and decided in 2020 to make Northern Michigan our Home.

The "Hillbilly" name is one of affection and admiration in my family for being a creative problem solver, and was founded by my Son. It "just kind of stuck". HILLBILLY CARPENTRY LLC provides carpentry and related home services as well as custom made décor and home furnishings to make every Home, Cabin, or Cabin-Home look and function their best.
